Sharon Godwin Scoggins, 61, passed peacefully into God’s eternal rest Saturday, July 1, 2006.
Memorial service: 10 a.m. Thursday at Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arlington. A reception is scheduled for 9 a.m. Thursday at the church. Viewing: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home on Davis Drive.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society.
She was born in Arlington on Jan. 5, 1945, to Bruce and Edna Earle Moore and had been a lifelong resident of Arlington . She was a longtime member of Fielder Road Baptist Church and had worked at the AISD for 32 years.
Survivors: Husband, Mike Scoggins and daughter, Julie Seigars; daughter, Alicia Renfro and her children, Ryan and Hailey; son, Wade Godwin and his daughter, Devin; and sister, Karen Magill.
