 AHS CLASS OF 1962 50th REUNION!

 Can it really be 50 years since we graduated! Since we began our Senior Year in September of 1961 we thought it a great idea to have opportunities to celebrate this milestone all year. So we’ll begin in September with Homecoming...then in the Spring we’ll take a trip down memory lane at Johnnie High’s Music Hall for dinner and their Doo-wop Show...and polish the year off June 8-10 with our BIG 50th Reunion Weekend and a number of activities.

The dates listed below are so that you can mark your calendars. Time and additional details to be announced later. This rag-tag committee welcomes anyone interested in being in on future plans for the events. If you are interested email DeeDee at D.winter@tx.rr.com and she will see that you are included. We’re so looking forward to reminiscing, catching up with each of you and renewing friendships.

September 9, 2011:

Homecoming Pep Rally at Arlington High School
Talegate party and Football Game, Cravens Field at Lamar High School Football Field, AHS’s new “home” field.

                                        Spring, 2012:

Dinner at Babe’s, and an evening at Johnnie High’s Music Hall, In our old “Arlington Movie Theater” on Center Street

June 8-10, 2012:

Friday evening get-together
Alumnae Association Open House at AHS, 10:30am Saturday
Reunion Gala – Rolling Hills Country Club, 6pm-11pm, $50 per person
Sunday Brunch - Rolling Hills Country Club

Only the June 9, 2012 dinner and gala event at Rolling Hills requires advance ticket purchase of $50 per person to make a reservation. (Mailing address to be announced.) All other activities will be individually paid for at the event. 

The redesigned website is up and almost complete. All that is lacking is additional photos and material suitable for newsletters.
